Windows 10 Copilot has entered public testing with Insiders

Windows 10 22H2 Home and Pro users who are Windows Insiders now have the option to access the Copilot AI assistant. To try it out, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and turn on the "Get the latest updates as soon as they become available" toggle. Recently, Microsoft announced that the Copilot feature will become available in Windows 10 in forthcoming updates. Additionally, Microsoft released Windows 10 build 19045.3754 (KB5032278) insiders on the Release Preview channel. It prepares the integration of Copilot in Windows 10. But it was quickly found by enthusiasts that Copilot already exists in that build.

Microsoft has officially announced the addition of the Copilot feature to Windows 10 Home and Pro. Earlier, such rumors were circulation on the Internet but without a word from Microsoft. So in the coming months, Microsoft will release the AI-powered Copilot assistant for Windows 10 Insiders.

A petition asks Microsoft to extend support for Windows 10

The Public Interest Research Group (PIRG) has recently submitted a petition to Microsoft urging them to extend support for Windows 10. Currently, it is estimated that there are around 400 million PCs worldwide, out of a total of 1 billion, that are unable to run Windows 11 due to strict system requirements of the latter. These users will now face the dilemma of having to throw away their PCs and purchase new ones since they will not be able to upgrade to Windows 11 in 2025 when Windows 10 will no longer be supported or updated. Following Windows 11, Windows 10 has also got labels for system apps

Microsoft has backported the System label for pre-installed apps in the Start menu from Windows 11 to Windows 10. September 2023 Cumulative Updates for Windows 11 and 10

Patch Tuesday's updates are now available for both Windows 11 and Windows 10. These patches aren't aimed to bring with them drastic changes to the OS and its features.
