Smart Eraser in Microsoft Edge
This new tool, part of the Edge image editor, allows you to select an object in the picture and remove it with ease.
First of all, you need to click on the AI editing button in the toolbar. A new pane will open, featuring the Smart Eraser tool. The only option it currently has is the brush size for more accurate object selection.
Once you select the area to delete, click Erase, and it will remove all that you have marked for removal.
Retouch Tool
This option, while is not listed under AI tools, does a nice job with removing image artifacts. For example, if you have removed an object with Smart Eraser, you can then remove its shadows with the Retouch tool.
Background Blur
This one does exactly that advertised. You can adjust blur intensity, and use a brush to accurately select what is the background in the image.
The following video shows all the mentioned instruments in action.
