It's no secret that Microsoft has long been working on the second generation of the foldable Surface Duo smartphone. It should go on sale this fall. Until now, there was no detailed information about the device. We could only guess the new product's specs, and what features it will get.
However, photos of the pre-final prototype Surface Duo 2 have found their way to the Internet today. Apparently, the device will exist in white and black colors, and frosted glass will be used as the body material.
You can also notice that Surface Duo 2 received a triple main camera, which consists of a standard module, an ultra wide-angle camera and a telephoto lens. At the same time, the camera unit will protrude quite strongly from the body of the smartphone. The fingerprint reader appears to be integrated into the power button now, and the USB-C port is now centered on the right side of the smartphone.
According to rumors, Microsoft intends to introduce Surface Duo 2 in September or October this year. It is expected that the novelty will receive a Snapdragon 888 processor, support for 5G and NFC.
The cost of the device is still unknown. It is possible that Surface Duo 2 will cost a little more than its predecessor, since the hardware stuffing of the device has been quite updated.
