Paint CoCreator is now available in Windows 11, stable versions

Windows 11 users running the stable OS version now have access to the CoCreator in Microsoft Paint, an image generator powered by the DALL-E 3 neural network. It has been available in the Canary and Dev channels since September and recently made its way to the Release Preview channel. Now, it is available to the public. Sadly, it is locked down to select countries.

Paint CoCreator Available To Everyone

To use this feature, you'll have to sign in to your Microsoft account and join the waitlist. When access to testing is opened, you will receive a notification. Once you are approved, open a blank Paint document, click on the Cocreator button located on the right side of the toolbar, and submit a request describing the image you want to generate.

To generate images, the user is given 50 credits. For one generation of a set of three images, one credit is deducted. It's likely that image generation credits will be available for purchase in the Microsoft Store in the future.

For beginners in the field of artificial intelligence, Microsoft has created a four-step guide on how to generate images in Paint.

Cocreator is currently available only in the following regions – United States, France, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy and Germany.

Recently, an update to Paint for Windows 11 included AI-powered background removal features. Additionally, similar to Photoshop, Paint now supports layers, enabling users to create more intricate and complex documents.
